![]() ![]() ![]() Oh, also, this is available on Switch, but One Way Heroics Plus is a fantastic fast-paced roguelike, too. ![]() It's pretty hotkey heavy, so it might not be as fun with a controller, but hey, it's worth a shot. Wayward is a fun 2D roguelike game, where you're stranded on a desert island and you have to try to survive while farming, hunting, leveling skills, etc.Feels like it would work very, very well on the Switch or PS5 or something, but never got ported over. More deliberate and combat-oriented than something like Spelunky, but has a similar approach to room generation, as I recall. Vagante is a fun, hard as nails rogue-like 2D platformer / action title. The combo instructions are a little broken still, as I recall, but overall, it's an enjoyable modern take on the classic RCR formula. River City Ransom Underground is a fun beat-em-up.A very enjoyable time and very engaging, I think. It would probably mean you'd need to use the touchscreen a lot to click on relevant buttons and move windows around. It simulates an entire computer operating system, and so is very mouse-focused as you click on different buttons and menus to open your map, engage in combat with enemies, and pick up and transfer loot. Kingsway is a really cool old-school-style RPG.If you make a mistake in Hexcells or RYB, itll buzz you. If you make a mistake in Picross, the game wont declare you a winner until youve fixed the picture. If you make a mistake in Minesweeper, youre dead. A very fun Metroid-like title with Castlevania-like combat and some puzzle-solving here and there. However, as discussed in my recent stream that covered RYB it shares a fundamental problem with Hexcells. Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth - a great Castlevania-like game where you control, ostensibly, Deedlit the elf, as she ventures through the titular Wonder Labyrinth.Jet Set Radio is also good, only available nowadays on XBOX 360 (apparently?) and Steam, so there you go.They also gain relationships, which can mix the story up a bit. Wildermyth is, also, very good it's a tactics game, but your heroes change and grow over time (not just leveling or getting new weapons, but also mutating or losing limbs, etc).Very brain-breaking highly recommend picking it up, if you've never played it. Antichamber is a great FPS perspective-based puzzle game. The Roller Coaster Tycoon games were, indeed, really good, if you're a fan of park management games.Paid $30 for it in early access, and would heavily recommend it I've played it for over 90 hours, apparently, haha. Minimum System Requirements: 512MB RAM, OpenGL2 capable graphics card or integrated graphics processor (use -force-opengl argument), reasonably recent processor (but really anything that has been produced in the last 12 years should suffice).THIS, Rimworld is an amazing, FANTASTIC strategy / colony builder game. Recommended System Requirements: Windows / Mac / Linux, 1024MB RAM, dual core processor, OpenG元 capable graphics card In theory it should work on phones, too, but the UI is not optimized for that case. More than 70 hand made levels, plus a tutorialĪndroid Version: The Android version has been developed for tablet devices only.No guessing needed: All levels are provably solvable and have a unique solution.Satisfying puzzle solving: Gameplay inspired by HexCells.Procedurally generated levels, with plenty of options for the random generator. It does not include the random level generator, the level editor, and most of the premade levels (plus the ability to load custom levels). Steam | Twitter | Facebook | Web | YouTube | IndieDBĭemo: The demo has been updated with a completely new tutorial (see below for download links). To help you achieve this goal, each node may carry information that uses reachability, distance, or color to constrain which nodes are pattern nodes. It is your job to figure out which of these nodes are part of the pattern and which are not. "The execution is perfect." - Gaming on LinuxĮach level of the game consists of a network of nodes (a graph). Patterna is a logic puzzle game inspired by HexCells. Please note that there is an updated Demo version available on Steam. The non-Steam and Android version here will be updated soon to match the Steam version.
